My daughter is 18 months old she woke up with stiff neck yesterday today its better but she still can not turn to the right or up what can i do?

Wry neck: What you appear to be describing is often called a wry neck.This can occur on occasion when the lymph glands in the muscles on one side of the neck swell & become irritated, making the muscle tender. It can also occur after trauma but i rarely see it. Comfort measures are a start, heating pad & ibuprophen. You should call the kids dr & discuss the sx. An evaluation may find a treatable trigger.
