Medication reaction: I suspect your feeling of suffocation causes you to use the alupent (metaproterenol). Alupent (metaproterenol) might be giving you the dizziness symptoms. In addition your respiratory complaint likely needs additional evaluation. I recommend seeing a ent, allergy, or pulmonary specialist. Lung function, xrays and allergy testing may help in evaluating and treating the respiratory symptoms with a medication that has fewer issues.
