Caution: The tattoo machine is quite unlikely to cause electrical problems for your device. I would avoid tattoos, however, especially near or on the same side as the ICD because this increases the risk of infection. I would generally advise people not to do this.

ICD: I would strongly recommend AGAINST getting a tattoo if you have a pacer or ICD. There is a risk of infection which is a very serious problem if you have an implantable device. The RF fields around the tattoo device could possibly interfere with the ICD or pacemaker also with a different set of severe problems. A tattoo is a bad idea.
