Meds and workup: There are some prescription agents, like lomotil, (diphenoxylat and atropine) that could "slow things down." however, pain in the stomach after eating may hint at an ulcer. My advice - if in doubt, consult a physician. Don't just go with a band-aid symptom-covering approach. And don't start popping the over-the counter antiacids (the "proton pump inhibitors") on a chronic basis. They can cause all kinds of problems.
