Too many meds!: It sounds like you took too many sedating medications at the same time -- plus doxepin, perphenazine, and amitriptylene can also cause orthostatic hypotension (lowered blood pressure when you try to stand, so that you end up dizzy.) hoping you won't do that again, and will work with your doctor for a safer solution to your sleep difficulties.
