60%: In a male, 60% of body weight is water. In women, it is 50%. You typically cannot use body water percentage to measure hydration. The best way to hydrate is to thirst: that is the most powerful stimulus for drinking water. Also, if your urine is dark, that usually means you are dehydrated as well.
