For fasting bloodwork(hormones)is it okay if i forget to drink a water prior a blood draw that morning?does not drinking a water affect results?i only took half glass of water 3-4 mins prior to blood draw.is 3-4 mins enough time for body to hydrate?

There is a reason why they ask you to take fluids before testing you, and it makes giving you the best answers difficult if you don't follow the instructions carefully. When you take in fluid by mouth is it absorbed through the gastric mucosa and the intestines over the next three hours and is transported in the blood stream. That is how the hydration of your body works and the kidney regulates it

No. Depending on what tests you are undergoing, it may not make much of a difference. Let your doctor know about your water intake so that s/he may take that into account when interpreting the results.
