Depends: Anxiety can cause you to have symptoms that do not in fact exist or to magnify small ones out of proportion. Magnification is likely as you mention it is noticeable when not active. In addition, having biked much myself, on long rides when put pressure on hands to the bars, it can cause slight loss of blood flow, hence tingling. Without exam, that is all that can be said.
