Chest and arm pain: Diagnosing chest and arm pain does require a visit to the doctor. It's common that people with heightened anxiety can experience chest pain and tingling in the extremities, but there are other causes too, from disk problems in the neck to collapsed lung, pulmonary embolus and heart attack. None of these is very likely at 31 years of age, but seeing a doctor for evaluation is a good idea. Good luck.

Can not state: With certainty. This is one situation in which medical evaluation needs to be done to ensure that there is not an underlying medical condition. If tingling sensation of hand is not exclusive to panic attacks - then neurological assessment is likely indicated. This will allow for determination of whether symptoms are related to anxiety/ panic.
