Yes: Milk has lactose, which is milk sugar. When you drink milk, glucose levels in the blood rise.

Ha???: Why would you inject glucose? Maybe you meant insulin? If you are talking about insulin, this can cause weight gain but this can be offset by a healthy diet and plenty of exercise.

A 25-year-old female asked:
My fasted glucose levels are some times 60-70 non fasted mid 60-80. I ate a bunch of candy an hour later my glucose was 54.. Non diabetic. Why so low?

Low blood sugar: A spike in blood glucose (from eating candy) is followed by a spike in insulin (which moves sugar from the blood into the cells) but these insulin spikes often "overshoot" resulting in hypoglycemia. So interestingly it is the high sugar levels which CAUSE the sugar crash/hypoglycemia later. Eat real food instead of sugar and this will stop. 2 other causes of hypoglycemia; diet soda and coffee.

Evidence is weak: There have been no good studies in the past. Some preliminary evidence is provocative but a decent study, with a large number of subjects, is needed. See http://www.med.nyu.edu/content?ChunkIID=21774
