When a lymph node is removed swells, had a drainage tube for 3 days.sent home n swelling again. do u think the drainage tube was not in long enough?

Not sure: I am not sure why you had a drain at all, if it was a single lymph node. . I would suspect that you have either a hematoma or seroma. 3 days should be more than adequate time for a drain, we usually get our drains out within the first few days, unless the drain continues to have output of greater than 30 cc in 8 hours.
