Visual after image: Visual after image is a common normal visual phenomena. It is seen in higher frequency in patients with migraines. Palinopsia, an exagerated prolonged visual after image may be seen in neurological disorders including seizures or epilepsy or disorders involving the occipital lobe or visual pathways.
