Why am i seeing a small afterimage dot in center of vision 24/7? it's definitely not floater as i know how it look. its been there for a week already

Exam: Have your eyes examined. It may be a problem with your retina, lens, or cornea. Floaters are always a possibility, but since you feel that your symptoms are different, an exam by an ophthalmologist will be very useful to help you with a proper diagnosis and possible treatment.
