See dentist/doctor: You could have an oral infection making the tongue swollen or sensitive. Usually teeth don't shift and cause problems with the tongue. Check this out with both your dentist and doctor.

Chipped tooth ??: The edge of your tooth or filling may be chipped or sharp. See your dentist to have it treated before you really cut up your tongue.

A few possibilities.: Either your tooth or teeth have become sharp and rough from a broken tooth or filling, or you've developed a habit of constantly rubbing your tongue against your teeth resulting in your tongue becoming sore. Another final thought is that you might have one of a number of lesions that you are attributing to your teeth although it is unrelated. See your dentist to see which one it actually is.
