"Morphologically consistent" suggests your positive test may have been on a biopsy or other specimen examined under the microscope. Such tests are often wrong; if you have not had a positive culture or PCR test, you may not be infected. If you are infected, probably it is Trichomonas vaginalis -- which someties shows up years after catching it. If uncertain, see an infectious disease specialist.
