A member asked:

What is medically defined as normal blood oxygen range and heart rate range during sleep for adults?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

During sleep heart rates may drop into the 50's, 40's or even in the 30's in young, highly trained athletes. I'd be concerned if an adult's sleeping heart rate exceeded 90. Normal O2 saturation shouldn't drop below 92% while sleeping.
