Cancer and its understanding can be confusing Generally carcinoid is a slow growing tumor. Tumor is also interpreted as cancer. Your doc was probably trying to tell you that it is not what people assume when they think of cancer. Internet is not the right place for medical decisions or disease understanding. Your doc is. So trust her if not try another one. But not the Internet
