My mom had surgery on her left hip 2 weeks ago as it was fractured. as soon as she came home from hospital she experiences bouts of dizziness, but she can walk with a walker so far. why might she be dizzy? she is not on prescription pain killers?

At age 91 it is wonderful that she's made such good progress but was she offered a stint at a rehabilitation center which might have been advisable? There's concern with her falling. Home physical therapist &visiting nurse will check for safe environment such as loose rugs,objects on floors,etc. Also low blood pressure&anemia must be checked for as causes of lightheadedness. She may need iron.
