What causes taste buds changes? i'm 37 and only recently starting tolerating olives and no longer like southern pecan coffee (previously loved it)!

Due to taste buds?: I'm not convinced that these changes are due to anything to do with your taste buds. People's likes and dislikes change over time for various reasons.

Age: I agree with dr sandler answer as we age sometime our tastes change its not a change in your taste buds biut in what you like to eat.
