Why do i get a sore throat after eating certain foods? it's usually foods high in fat (peanut butter, olive oil, etc.) and sometimes, coffee. thanks!

May be reflux: Of acidic stomach contents. Fatty foods, coffee, chocolate, a bunch of meds, large meals, lying down or bending over after eating, pepiermint, chamomile can all increase reflux into esophagus. Can go all the way up to the throat in some people.
