Take ocp (yasmin) for endometriosis/painful periods. don't tolerate any ocp well. what would happen in i cut the tablet in 1/2 and took 1/2 daily? any benefit to get a very very small dose of hormones?

"Yasmin" is a low dose oral contraceptive, so "cuting the active pills in half" will usually not prevent ovulation, which will cause eventual cramping secondary to endometriosis. Ask your GYN physician for guidance on another type of oral contraceptive which may be easier to accommodate.
