?normal? A heart rate increases about 10 beats/min for every degree of fever. A pulse of 94 vis consistent with a normal response to fever. An oxygen decline to 94 suggests some form of impaired oxygen transfer as may occur in a pneumonia or asthma event. The findings indicate a visit to urgent care is needed as soon as it can be arranged.

I agree with Dr. Ferguson. Your boy is sick with an infection based on those data: fever 101.7, mildly impaired oxygenation with pulse oxymetry of 94 on room air and tachycardia 146 (still high for fever of 101.7). He should be evaluated by a doctor as soon as possible. Good luck.
