I was born with a partial thyroid - just some tissue. have been on levothyroxine since infancy. i just found out my tsh is .01 - same meds ive been on for a couple years and its been fine. this happens every so often. thoughts? and is .01 dangerous?

The value indicates your supplemental thyroid treatment is quite adequate. In your situation a high TSH would indicate the brain center is in overdrive trying to get your gland to make hormone, yet the supplement prevents this from occurring. Please review your concerns with your regular doc the next time you go in.
