Nobody knows the exact duration but it has to be years before that complication may occur. Some studies showed the odd of vitamin B12 deficiency will be doubled if you take PPI more than 2 years. There are, however, some conflicting data in elderly patients suggesting that the PPI use for more than 3 years does not increase the risk of vitamin B12 deficiency. Take care.
