Ive had 6 cts and 7 x-rays in the past 8 months and need to have another ct before a procedure in two days. they are all medically necessary and hopefully this will be my last for a while but how much damage have i done by doing all these scans?

The amount of radiation exposure for each test is actually a very small amount so, even with all these scans and x-rays, there has likely been very little radiation exposure. You should try to have all your radiology tests done in the same place so a radiologist is keeping track of the amount of tests you are having done. Limiting the tests as much as possible is always the goal. Good luck!
