Looking for a cardiologist or heart doctor to answer. two years ago i had open heart surgery and they did a mitral valve replacement and they also installed a pacemaker and i was wondering if . i wanted to know if i a allowed to donate my some plasma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If you've had no symptoms for 6 months after open heart surgery & mitral valve replacement and no history of congestive heart failure for 6 months, & no current blood pressure abnormalities or current restrictions on physical activities, you can donate blood or plasma. It's always best to get your cardiologist's OK however.
