Diagnosed obstructive sleep apnea from home sleep test. not overweight, have deviated septum but was told this doesn't cause sleep apnea. i'd like to know the source of the obstruction, does in lab sleep test show this info? apap helps but not fully?

At-home sleep apnea testing is a good first step, but now you need the sleep lab evaluation. Whether it will indicate the underlying cause won't be known until it's done. That evaluation also will provide better information on treatment, if needed. Good luck.
