Thoughts on kratom in small amounts for muscle pain ?

The FDA considers Kratom to be a high-risk substance with many side effects similar to opioids. There is NO good science to support any of the OTC uses and unclear how well it handles pain. Would strongly suggest totally avoiding this in all cases. The risk/benefit ratio appears abominable.

Kratom is considered unsafe and ineffective by the FDA. Most such meds are unregulated and the quantity and quality is uncontrolled. suggest refrain from it. Best to see a doc if it persists.
