There are many anti-seizure medications that can cause hair loss. The ones that most commonly cause hair loss are valproic acid and carbamazepine. It is less common with levetiracetam (Keppra). If you have seizures that must be controlled with these medications, ask your doctor what can be done to prevent hair loss before it is an issue. Good luck!
