Vitamin question. can biotin interfere with seizure medication. i'm on keppra (levetiracetam) and want to take something for my hair loss.

Biotin & Keppra (levetiracetam): Although there is no evidence that biotin interacts with any medication, there are some medications that may deplete biotin levels. These include those used to control seizures. It is best to first talk to your health care provider before starting biotin or any other vitamin supplement. This includes topical Rogaine for hair loss as there can be an interaction with Keppra (levetiracetam).
