A TSH alone isn't enough to diagnose a thyroid condition. I am assuming you're looking for hyperthyroidism based on your kid's symptoms. One would need a thyroid panel (T3, T4, thyroid antibodies) to fully flesh out the clinical picture. At the same time, definitely rule out substance use and explore mental health disorders that can present at this age with exactly the same clinical symptoms.
