I can see regular print up close without glasses, but my trial contacts are for distance and when i have them in everything is blurry up close. is it possible to have distance contacts that dont affect near vision?

Likely you have mild presbyopia besides myopia (nearsightedness). You will need glasses for nearsightedness and you do not use it when you read or you have to use bifocal glasses or your contact lenses have to be multifocal type. Good luck.
