My popiteal dvt resolved, however, my vascular dr does not think that 3 tight rubber bands on each leg (to hold $ there just below the knee) caused the dvt. They were as tight as band used when drawing blood. Why does he say bands didnt cause dvt?

Can DVT be misdiagnosed? Had 2 ultrasounds(groin to popliteal) two days apart for knee and calf cramps/pain. Constant pain for over 25days. No injury.
