A 35-year-old female asked:

I am 21 wks preg & think i have a superficial blood clot behind my knee. i think it was caused by too-tight compression socks during prev preg (sig edema & socks top band was too tight). can this turn into dvt? treatment?

Maybe superficial: This is likely not DVT. DVT usually is associated with leg swelling and pain. DVT has a higher incidence in pregnancy. If these symptoms are present, contact a provider.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
