A member asked:

When i look right inside the vaginal opening, by spreading it with my fingers, it looks a bit reddish, like pinkish skin with very tiny reddish dots, very minor, like irritated looking, is this a concern?? is it cancer? i am worried... no std/hpv?

Your vagina appearance seems consistent with vaginal atrophy (atrophic vaginitis) due to estrogen deficiency after menopause. No, that appearance is not cancerous. Take care.

Hard to diagnose without an exam. Could be minor irritation/ non-specific infection. Try cortisone cream for a few days. If not better pl see your Gyn.
