I received a hepatitis b vaccination before my blood was drawn to test for hiv. i received my test results with hiv-2 indeterminate antibodies response. can a hepatitis b vaccination cause this sort of reaction?

HBV vaccination is not known to have any effect on HIV test results. Probably it's unrelated. Don't be too worried: the large majority of indeterminate HIV test results turn out to be false, i.e. no HIV infection. Still, you should follow up with a doctor or clinic very experienced in HIV etc, such as an infectious diseases specialist. Good luck.
