I just found out i have hpv. my partner and i have been having unprotected sex for a few months so he has already been exposed. should we start using condoms to help get rid of the infection or will it not make a difference?

Welcome to the world of normal! Everybody (90% or more) gets HPV, and half of all people your age test positive. There is no point in condoms now: your partner undoubtedly is infected with the same HPV strain, or immune to it. And condoms don't work very well to prevent HPV anyway. They reduce the risk each time but not perfectly, so regular condom users get HIV as often as non-users.

If he is already exposed and has no lesions the there is a good chance he wont get the clinical symptoms. If you have warts then it might be prudent to get treated and him to wear a condom. good luck
