I had sex with a woman with high risk hpv ( not the type that causes warts)using a condom.is there a risk of getting high risk hpv infection?

The high risk strains of HPV rarely cause significant issues in straight men. The problem generally is you can acquire it if exposed to a woman infected by these strains during her first 2 yrs (after which it is less contagious). Men are at some risk of throat cancer from oral sex & very rarely a penile cancer, but the main issue is you rarely if ever know you caught it, but can spread it.
