Is it common for a breast abscess on nipple not to drain? it drained pus one time but hasnt drained anymore in the past several days. i been doing warm compress and taking antibiotics. i go doc tomorrow to see what they are gonna do for it?

If there is no redness swellin or pain in the area it has probably healed therefor nothing is coming out. Good luck

Dime sized hard, red, itchy, painful lump on left breast next to nipple. Has drained some pus and bloody/pus. Cancerous, abscess or something else?
I went to doc again about my breast abscess. Its smaller now. She put me on antibiotics for one more round. She plans to send me to a breast surgeon for a draining if needed and a u/s with biopsy. Is this reasonable? I had normal mammogram in July?
