Went to doctor for a breast abscess and mastitis- the doc believes it is a abscess on top of my nipple along with mastitis. however the abscess is very small so she wants to see if it drains on own while on doxycline.can these drain? go back on 5th?

With treatment an abscess may resolve or it may organize more. In the latter case it will be easier to drain or might even drain spontaneously. The described plan sounds reasonable
