A member asked:

So that means if i now have hpv types 6&11 in my body but have not shown any symptoms,i should get vaccinated as soon as posible to reduce the possibility of warts show up,right?in fact,i had hpv pcr test with negative after 3 months having oral sex?

The vaccine does not treat or prevent emergence of any HPV infection you have acquired in the past, If the wart strains have not emerged after 3 months you likely were not exposed.

A majority of sexually active people get infective and never get warts. Vaccination is even better. Getting warts anywhere after sex depends on the invasiveness of the virus and the immune system of the person You have done all you can to protect yourself. Good luck
