Attacks that last hrs to days/weeks of itch/pricking, crawling/stinging/dusty/gritty feeling on skin & also in every mucous area, feels like ive walked in dust, lips tingle. blood show nothing, derm said neuropathy - but all over? is that possible?

I agree that such very widespread peripheral neuropathy is unlikely but would at least test Vit B12 levels,exclude diabetes or alcohol excess,toxin exposure,medication side effect. The brain communicates with the skin so chronic stress&tension are possibilities. In this case, stress management therapy would be helpful.
