If im taking doxycycline as post exposure prophylaxis before symptoms, is it possible for a chancre to form 7 days into the treatment? im worried what i thought was a cut on my lip is the start of a chancre?

No. It's very unlikely a chancre could form in the week following the usual single dose of post-exposure prophylaxis with doxycycline (doxy-PEP) recommended for STI prevention in MSM (200 mg). Even without doxycycline, chancres don't form sooner than 10-12 days after exposure. Your lip cut is not a chancre.
