This was on my x-ray of cervical spine report there is chronic osseous interbody and interfacet fusion of c4-c5. my doctor asked me if ive had neck surgery. i have never had neck surgery. what does this mean?

That the 4th and 5th vertebra in your neck are joined together. There can be many causes- post surgery being one. Best is to consult an ortho or neurosurgeon- to find cause. good luck
