Echo is very operator dependent and thus MRI is thought to be more accurate. Many more “cuts” can be viewed. Remember we are trying to measure wall thickness in a beating/moving heart. A difference of only 0.1 cm is within range of repeatability. ESP with echo. Might want to Google them and compare. Then discuss with a dr who has reviewed both.
