60yr old female have thumb pain for week or two. pain is base joint and moving into tendon approx 3in from wrist. i have lots of joint pains all bloods negative gp say fibromyalgia. thumb pain is new, ideas what this could be?

You may have fibromyalgia, but thumb pain is NOT due to it. Get a second opinion from an orthopedic hand surgeon specialist.
