Cyst or rib: Your daughter may have bruised or fractured a rib. Conversely, the cyst may have ruptured, if it is very large. Then agaig she may have bruised your kidn ey. Get it checked if the pain persists.

Could be the cyst: Your kidney cyst may not be the reason why you have pain. Reasons can range from muscular to bleeding in the cyst to kidney trauma ( usually happens with blood in the urine) if your pain persists seek medical advice and imaging please.
