Probably no risk at all. Your higher heart rate when stressed probably has nothing to do with your MV prolapse. Everybody's heart rate rises with stress. The only health risk from MV prolapse comes if there is a valve leak (called mitral regurgitation) that becomes severe, in which case you are at risk for heart failure. But most people with MVP never have this problem. Discuss w/ cardiologist.

As already indicated, your baseline cardiac status is fine, but why do you wish to "do" cocaine which does indeed have potential cardiovascular and cerebrovascular risks, and could very well be cut with Fentanyl? Would it not be a safer and healthier choice to avoid recreational drugs period?

Drugs are bad- mitral prolapse or not. You open yourself to a huge amount of problems to your health with that no matter what the drug or the route of intake. With an abnormal valve the chances are heightened. Stay well and clean
