A member asked:

A couple of years back my doctor said i have spondylolisthesis, now currently i have back pain due to heavy lifting that been going on for 1 month its on and off pain which spreads to the legs it doesnt seem to be fully healing what could be reason?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The current persistent back pain may be secondary to discogenic problems, such as a protrusion or a rupture. This needs to be imaged as radiation to the legs suggests potential nerve root compression. See a physiatrist and track down answers.
