Cough: Cough is not a normal thing in baby. Eitger it is associated with upper respiratory illness or reflux.

Coughing due to a viral infection may linger and post nasal drip contributes to the cough. Keep nasal passages clear with baby nasal saline drops. Cough syrup is not indicated and antibiotics do not treat viral illness. If there was a specific reason for prescribing an antibiotic, for example an ear infection, please consult with your Pediatrician. Watch for signs of rapid breathing fever.
